Today I am sharing my new way to use my Swiffer. I love my swiffer- I just don't like how much the refill pads cost for it! I decided to do my own.
All you need is a fluffy sock. I had a whole bunch of those hospital socks around so I decided to use those to see how it worked. It worked really well! And the plus side is you can rewash them over and over again!

Sock from the hospital
I turned the sock inside out.
Slipped it on over the end of the swiffer.
Used it in my house and look at all the dust it picked up!
Take the sock off and put it in a container to be washed!

For those of you who don't know me I CD- (cloth diaper). I also make my own homemade baby wipes. Since I ran out this morning I figured that I would share with everyone how I do it!

Stuff you will need to make your own baby wipes.
1- roll of paper towels
1 container to fit the half roll of paper towels
1 tsp. baby oil
1 tsp. liquid castile soap
10-12 drops tea tree essential oil
1 1/2 cups water
knife or hack saw
measuring spoons
measuring cup

First get a roll of paper towels. Cut the roll in half. I have a hack saw that I use to do this. You can also use a really big knife.
Once you have the paper towel cut in half put 1 half away for later and put the other half in the container you are going to use to store your wipes in. I got mine as a set at walmart. It was a storage set of maybe 4 different size containers.
Get your 1 1/2 cups of water and add the baby oil, tea tree essential oil and the soap to the measuring cup. Gently stir it all together

Slowly pour the mixture onto the roll of paper towels.
Once you have it all poured on there wait a few minutes then you will be able to take the cardboard out of the roll.
That's it your done! You made your own baby wipes!
